One-off peer learning activities on selected themes

Following the adoption of the Strategic Framework for European cooperation in Education and Training in May 2009, the Member States and the European Commission have agreed upon priority areas and related working methods for the period 2009-2011.

Alongside the Thematic Working Groups it was decided to establish a set of one-off peer learning activities on selected themes. Their main purpose is to address themes which do not require a systematic follow up at EU level over a longer period of time. The activities are organised by the Commission in cooperation with a Member State willing to host such a PLA.
